“If I may, I’d like to communicate some things about Lostock Grove.

This has been an awful time for us. Mum has lived with us, in our home for 10 years. We’ve always said we would never let her go into a care home, but the circumstances of her new disability coupled with other family circumstances, have created a different perspective for us. The care home chosen by social services, after mum’s hospitalisation, was, at best, less than great.

We got a good feeling as soon as we walked into Lostock Grove and we moved Mum pretty much immediately. Gina and Terri-Anne have been brilliant. Their consideration, communication and empathy have been exemplary. Nothing has been too much trouble. Even better, their example and leadership has cascaded this approach down through all their staff.

Each and every one has shown great care and patience, empathy and understanding, not just for Mum, but for every resident we have seen them interact with.
